Joseph S. Bruccoleri, 93, of Iselin passed away peacefully on Sunday September 6th at his home. Born in Bayonne, NJ and raised his family in Jersey City and Iselin. He is predeceased by his siblings Vincent and Rosalie. Survived by his wife of 59 years, Angela, and his sons Joseph and Donald. He served in the United States Navy (Seabees), during WWII. He worked for the US Government and Rutgers University as a skilled locksmith for many years. He was also an accomplished “handyman” performing pluming, electrical, and carpentry projects for friends and neighbors. He enjoyed watching old movies, doing puzzles and listening to Frank Sinatra, big band music, and Jazz. A funeral Mass will be held at St Cecelia’s church at 45 Wilus Way in Iselin NJ at 10am on Saturday September 12th. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association (www.diabetes.org), a disease which he suffered from for many years.
