Jose A Renderos, Sr.

Our beloved father, Jose Adan Renderos Salinas, 81, of Edison, New Jersey, passed away surrounded by his loving family on February 23rd, 2025, in Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, New Brunswick, New Jersey. He was born in Tela, Honduras, to Emilio Renderos and Eduarda Salinas on July 5th, 1943. He had seven siblings, five brothers and two sisters.  He was an amazing human being, a man of faith, a loving and caring person.

He was a talented man, he worked as a shoemaker, sailor, painter, construction, and maintenance. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Deisy, and worked very hard to provide for her, his children, and his grandchildren. He was also a great uncle, brother, friend, and always opened his heart to help the needy. His passions were soccer, soap operas, and making jokes.  He also loved having his toys that made sounds such as his singing bass fish and toy robots that play music and sounds.

He leaves behind his wife Deisy Renderos, his sister Mercedes Alvarado, and his children Marcos Renderos, Dilcia Guardado, Leila Sanders, Deisy Fijolek, Saby Renderos, and Jose Adan Renderos. He also leaves behind his grandchildren Marcos Renderos Jr, Ariel Renderos, Hector Renderos, Lenin Renderos, Jose Guardado, Jason Sanders, Karlo Renderos, Justin Sanders, Selbin Sabio, Gabriela Fijolek, Michael Sanders, Adam Fijolek, Stephanie Kieffer, Nelson Eduardo, & Alex Garcia.

He loved to donate to various charities such as veterans, police, children, and animals.

Visitation service will be held at Gosselin Funeral Home, 660 New Dover Road, Edison, NJ  08820, on Thursday, February 27th, 2025 from 6pm – 9pm and on Friday, February 28th, 2025 from 8:30am – 9:30am. Funeral will be held at St. John Vianney Roman Catholic, on Friday, February 28th, 2025 from 10:00am –11:00am. Burial will follow at Saint Gertrude Cemetery, 53 Inman Avenue, Colonia, NJ 07067.
