Jose Luis Quinones

Jose Luis Quinones passed away peacefully on April 20, 2022 at the age of 63 in his home in South Carolina.

“Joe”, as he was affectionately known, was born in Ferreiros de Caurel, Spain on June 10, 1958 to Counsuelo and Jose Quinones.

He was a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished brother. He led his life wearing his heart on his sleeve and would do anything for those that he loved. Joe adored spending time with his family, cooking his favorite meals, and watching his favorite football team, the Jets. He spent most of his days in retirement soaking in the sun, walking his dog TJ, and enjoying his favorite drink by the water, a pina colada. Joe will always be remembered as someone who easily put a smile on anyone’s face and filled every room with laughter. He was a soul that was taken too soon, but a soul that will be cherished by all those that he touched.

Those left to treasure his memory include his mother, Counselo Quinones; his wife, Renata Pugliese; his children, Julia and Kristen Quinones, and Tommy Knowles; and his siblings, Manuel, Hilda, Remy, and Lisa Quinones. He is predeceased by his beloved father, Jose Quinones.

Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing on Friday, April 29th between 2-7pm at Gosselin Funeral Home located at 660 New Dover Rd, Edison, NJ, 08820. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a charity of your choosing in Joe's name.
