It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John Romeo, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who left us on March 3rd, 2025. He was the devoted husband of Marilynn, loving father to Ty and Tara, and proud grandfather to Collin and Drew.
Born on July 26th, 1937, John had a gift for finding joy in the everyday. He loved to laugh, eat well, and see the humor in life, always bringing smiles to those around him. Whether he was working on a puzzle, collecting coins, cheering on his favorite football team, or sharing a joke, he had a way of making the world a little brighter.
He was preceded in death by his siblings Mathew, Weston, Phyllis, Frances, Carmella, Anthony, Juliet and is survived by his sister Anna, who will cherish his memory along with all who knew and loved him.
John was a gentle soul whose warmth and love will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Though he is no longer with us, his laughter and spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, you may donate to the Muscular Dystrophy Association or just share a meal with someone you love, tell a good joke, or complete a puzzle in his honor - that’s what he would have wanted.
