Joan Caloia Scott

Born on May 18.1939 and raised in Newark, N.J. to the late Tom and Jean Caloia,
and wife to the late William Willy Scott. Joan died on November 22, 2022 and is
survived by; her brother Tom Jr. (“Butch”) and his wife, JoAnn, her nephew
Michael Caloia and his wife Erica, her stepdaughter Tabatha Harris and step
grandchildren Jaylen, Taylor and Kennedi.
After 23 years of service with Colgate Palmolive, Joan retired in 2001. She moved
to Florida and married in 2002. In 2011 Joan returned to New Jersey following the
death of her husband Willy. In her later years she lived in Monmouth County near
the Jersey shore that she loved so much.
Born and raised a Roman Catholic she stayed true to her faith throughout her life.
Her deep spiritual devotion to her faith gave her the strength she needed to
endure the physical and mental challenges that disease and illness would bring.

Visitation Sunday November 27, 2022 from 3:00pm to 7:00pm at the Gosselin Funeral Home 660 New Dover Road, Edison.

Funeral Mass Monday 11:15am at St Helena Church Edison. All to meet at Church. Interment St Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
