Joan I Emm

Joan I Emm passed away Tuesday October 20, 2020 at home surrounded by her loving family. Joan was born and resided in Newark before moving to Iselin in 1966. She was a flight kitchen worker for United Airlines in Newark for over 30 years retiring 22 years ago. Joan was a devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking and baking and the house was always opened and welcome to all.

Joan was a member of the United Airline retirement group and a parishioner of St John Vianney RC Church, Colonia.

Joan was predeceased by her husband Joseph Emm, her parents Aloysious and Maria Foerster, her daughter Joan Kranz, her 2 sisters Gloria Byrne and Maria Machos. Surviving are her children Steven Emm and his wife Linda, Donna Balogh and her husband Stephen, Jr., Edward Emm and his wife Kimberly. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren Steven, Jr., Jacqueline, Edward, Jr., Kimberly, Charles, Thomas, Jr. and Joseph, 5 great grandchildren Breanna, Brayden, Makenzie, Logan and Peyton also her sister Ruth Polo and her brother Al Foerster.

Entombment will be private.
