Jay Jengo

Born November 8, 1962, Jay Jengo passed on January 11, 2020 at age 58 after a long illness, so bravely endured. Jay is predeceased by his dad John V. Jengo and was survived by his mom Doris Jengo, sister Judy and former brother-in-law and trusted friend Brian Wilson, brother John, sister-in-law Terry and nephew Johnny.
Jay loved cats and dogs and they felt safe and unconditionally loved in his presence. He greatly enjoyed volunteering his time with animal rescue organizations. Jay was an expert on all things ‘Star Trek’, having had many an article published and having attended many an event where he interviewed the actors and writers for this series. Jay also had a regular column in his college newspaper.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jay’s name may be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals ( www.aspca.org ).
