Janice Boczkus

Janice Boczkus, 66, passed away on December 3, 2024, at JFK hospital surrounded by
her family. Born in Elizabeth, Janice resided in Colonia for most of her life.
Janice is survived by her husband of 41 beautiful years Frederick Boczkus, her children
Erick and Daniel, daughter in law Jessica, her two grandchildren Leo and Gio, Brother
Jack Butler, sister-in-law Stacy and many additional family members especially her
nieces and nephews that she adored.
Janice was predeceased by her loving parents Anne and John Butler, Grandmother
Helen “Ama”, late son Nicholas, and sister Joanne Pagan.
Janice worked for Exxon for the utility and hazmat disposal department for 30 years.
Her true passion was dancing. Janice began at a young age at her mother’s dance
studio which led her interest in the love of specialty dance in aerial acrobatics and
danced for a NY based dance show in Cherry Hill, NJ.
Janice had the most caring soul. Always had a helping hand and words of wisdom to
share. Never came empty handed even if it was her just stopping by to say hello.
Janice’s life truly revolved around her grandchildren and family. She always brightens
up the room. She loved all animals and had taken care of so many throughout the
years. Janice always had a remedy to heal and always had a healthier alternative.
Janice was one of a kind and is greatly missed.
A Memorial Service to be held at Gosselin Funeral Home on Tuesday December
10th, 2024, from 6pm to 8pm for all to attend. There will be a private celebration of her
life for immediate family.
