Jane passed away peacefully, after a long illness, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was a wonderful wife, mother, nana, sister, aunt, cousin and friend to many.
She is survived by her devoted husband Brian to whom she was married to for 45 years and their four children Brian Edward (Maya) of Cranford, Sean of Edison, Colleen Pirog (Conrad) of Colonia, and Meghan Tanis (Mark) of Morris Plains. She loved spending time with her 6 grandchildren Jacob, Lukas, Zachary, Mila, Noelle, and Caleb who knew her as Nana and they were the light of her life.
Jane was born in Levittown, NY to the late Raymond and Jane Gouldsbury. She was one of four children and is survived by her sister Kathleen O’Hara (John) of Farmingdale, brother Richard Gouldsbury (Lisa) of Wantagh, her sister Anne Kunz who predeceased her, and brother-in-law, Joseph Farrell, of California. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
Jane was a compassionate and selfless person, who dedicated her life to nursing. She graduated from NCC in 1978, and spent her entire career caring for others. She retired in 2017 from Menlo Park Veterans Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Memorial Sloane Kettering (MSK) in Jane’s memory.
