Jan Bogdanski

Jan Bogdanski passed away on January 14th 2023 at home in Colonia New Jersey.  He was born in Newark  New Jersey on April 18, 1951 to Zygmunt and Joanna  Bogdanski.  He graduated Colonia Senior High School at the top of his class in 1969.  He was an Eagle Scout and loved instructing junior scouts about nature during summer camp near the Delaware Water Gap. 

Jan attended Clark University in Wooster Massachusetts in the early 70’s where began his long struggle with mental illness.  Jan found much enjoyment in photography and many of his works have been exhibited.

Jan is survived by his long time girlfriend Dorothy Dlugosz, his brother and sister-in-law Richard and Barbara Bogdanski, niece Veronica Bogdanski, nephew Richie Bogdanski and nephew Matthew Bogdanski with wife Chelsea.

Visitation Wednesday January 25, 2023 from 2:00pm to 6:00pm at the Gosselin Funeral Home 660 New Dover Road, Edison with a 5:30pm Blessing at the funeral home.
