James Michael Rieder

James Rieder, 70, passed away on December 18, 2025. Born in Kearny, New Jersey, he was the son of the late George and Jean Rieder.

James was a quiet and gentle man, known for his kindness and dry sense of humor that revealed itself once you spent time talking with him. He grew up playing soccer and maintained a lifelong appreciation for sports. In later years, he found his greatest peace on the water, especially during days spent fishing with his sons, James and Anthony.

He was a devoted husband to his wife, Edith, and a steady, loving presence in the lives of his family. His calm nature and warmth will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his wife, Edith, his two sons, James and Anthony, and his siblings Tommy, Bobby, and Nancy.
