James E Nolan

James “Jimmy” Nolan passed away on Monday, May 23 at JFK Medical Center in Edison, New Jersey surrounded by his family.

Born in in Hoboken, NJ on June 14th, 1954, Jim grew up in Sayreville, NJ and graduated from Sayreville High School in 1972. He became employed at Twin County Grocers in Edison, NJ and Married Lynn, his former spouse in the summer of 1983. They settled in Edison and had 2 children, Ryan & Lindsay Nolan. Jim was a graduate of the Cittone Institute in Edison and began his 22+ year career at Shiseido Cosmetics USA in East Windsor, NJ in 2000. He became a resident of Perth Amboy, NJ in 2005.

Jim was an avid New York Yankees fan and frequented Yankee stadium with his friends and family. A devoted grandfather, he was adored by his children and grandchildren and blessed with his large and loving family. Known by all for his kindness and generosity, James was the life of every party he hosted or attended.

James was predeceased by his father, John Nolan and stepfather William O’Rear. He is survived by his mother, Doris O’Rear; Son Ryan Nolan and his fiancé Jessica Bates; Daughter Lindsay Nolan and her fiancé Jesse Astor; Granddaughter Arielle Astor; Grandson Jesse James Astor; Siblings John Nolan, Kathleen Nolan, Michael Nolan, Susan Rockfolski and Patrick Nolan; Former Spouse Lynn Bare and his many nieces and nephews.

Visitation Friday May 27,2022 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Gosselin Funeral Home 660 New Dover Road Edison. Funeral Mass Saturday May 28, 2022 10:00am at St Helena Church, Edison. All to meet at Church. Interment St Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia
