James “Jimmy” Christopher Loomis, of Woodbridge Township, passed away
peacefully on Sunday, October 13 at the age of 60.
Jimmy found joy in the simplest pleasures: watching a basketball game,
going for a ride in the car, or eating a scoop of vanilla ice cream. His joyful
smile cheered everyone that he encountered. His family is grateful to all of
those who contributed to his care throughout his life.
Jimmy was predeceased by his mother Eleanore Loomis, father Thomas C.
Loomis, sister Kathy Sailor, and brother John Loomis. He survived by siblings
Thomas Loomis (Marie), Peggy Ghanaim (Raj), Mary Payne (Tim), Jeannie
Loomis, Ella Walchak and sister-in-law Janice as well as many nieces and
nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes gifts in Jimmy’s memory to The Arc of
New Jersey (https://www.arcnj.org/help/donate_now.html).
