On April 20, 2025, James Krug, age 86, peacefully passed away. He was a resident of Aberdeen, NJ.
James was a long time participant in the programs of the New Jersey Institute for Disabilities, including Residential Services and the Adult Day Program in Port Reading, where he made many cherished friends. As an ardent advocate on behalf of individuals with disabilities, James often helped his friends with difficult situations. He enjoyed peaceful days crafting, traveling on short excursions, chatting with his buddies and playing board games.
James will be mourned by his twin brother, Jack Krug and his wife Diana and his niece, Kathy Rohr. The caring and dedicated staff of NJID Residential Services and Adult Day programs will long-remember James with great affection.
There will be a visitation service on Monday, April 28, 11-12 noon at the Gosselin Funeral Home, 660 New Dover Road, Edison, NJ. Immediately following will be a private internment.
