James Boob

James L Boob peacefully passed away Thursday December 23, 2021 at his daughter’s home in Dunellen.

James was born in Osceola Mills, PA and lived in Fanwood, before moving to Colonia in 1975 and then to Whiting in 2001.

James Boob proudly served our country in the United States Army in Korea after the War. He was employed as a factory worker for Kraft General Foods in Springfield for 20 years and then at Schering Plough (now Merck) in Kenilworth for 18 years before retiring 20 years ago.

James was predeceased by his wife of 49 years Rosemary Ann Boob, his brothers Jack, Robert (Bob) and Harold Boob his sisters Maxine Brown and Janice Mathews. Surviving are his daughters Judie Toth and her husband Gary and Jennifer Huczak and her husband Andy, his son James Herr and family. James also leaves behind his loving grandchildren Jarrett Toth, Gavin Toth, Liana Huczak and Kayla Huczak.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass Wednesday January 19, 2022, 10:45am at St John Vianney Church, Colonia. All to meet at church. Inurnment to follow at St Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
