Jacqueline Petyo Obituary

Jacqueline Petyo, 88, of Colonia, NJ passed away peacefully on May 8, 2025, at Roosevelt
Care Center in Edison.

Jacqueline was born in Union, NJ on February 23, 1937. She enjoyed spending time with her
children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren as well as her loving dog, Toby. She also enjoyed
watching football on Sundays. She was an avid supporter of the Woodbridge Police
Department as her late husband, Michael Petyo, was a retired patrol officer. She was a devoted
Catholic who looked forward to weekly Mass.

Jacqueline is predeceased by her beloved husband, Michael Petyo, and daughters Michelle and
Laurie. Jacqueline is survived by her daughters Jacqueline Schoengold-Petyo and her 5 children, and
Margaret “Peggy” Deberjeois, her grandchildren Michael Petyo, his wife Tina, and their 3
children, Katrina Rizzolo, her husband Louis, and their 2 children, Kevin Maher, his wife
Jennifer, and their 3 children, and grandson Christopher Petyo, and his son Christopher Jr.
Jacqueline was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and brought great
joy to those around her. She will be deeply missed and forever in the hearts of those whose
lives she’s touched.
