Isabel Campaignio

Isabel Campaignio, 84, of Colonia, NJ, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 9, 2024.

Isabel was born on November 20, 1939 in Havana, Cuba to the late Feliciano and Maria Teresa
(Tamargo) Gonzalez. She graduated from Baldor High School and after graduating she started
her first job at the International Telephone & Telegraph (ITT) Company. In 1967, Isabel
immigrated to the Unites States, where she married her late beloved husband of 42 years, Albert
Campaignio. She raised her two surviving sons, Michael and John Campaignio in Colonia, NJ.
During that time, she was an administrative assistant at Merrill Lynch and Colonia High School.
She enjoyed vacationing with her family, spending time with her grandchildren and reading,
Isabel is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Jose “Pepe” and Carmen Gonzalez, sister,
Mirtha DeLeon, sons and daughters-in-laws Michael and Kimberly Campaignio, John and
Dagmar Campaignio, nephew Manuel DeLeon, nieces Maria Aguirre and Teresita Marquina,
four grandchildren Justin, Eric, Jason and John, and many great nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation services at Gosselin Funeral Home, 660 New
Dover Road, Edison, NJ 08820 on May 16, 2024, between 4:00 – 8:00 pm. The funeral will be
held on Friday, May 17, 2024, at Gosselin Funeral Home at 9:00 am, thence to Saint John
Vianney RC Church, Colonia, where a funeral mass will be offered at 10:00 am. Entombment
will follow at Saint Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
