Howard E Bertsch

Howard E. Bertsch, age 75, passed away on June 20, 2024, in Edison, New Jersey. Born on August 19, 1948, in Tottenville, Staten Island, Howard was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who dedicated his life to taking care of his family. He was a Vietnam Veteran who served in the United States Marine Corps from 12/29/68 until 9/12/72.

Howard is remembered as a loving and loyal husband to his wife, Joyce Bertsch, and a true provider for his children, Eric, Cynthia, and Jeremy Bertsch. He was predeceased by his son, Eric Bertsch. Howard's joy was made complete by his granddaughter, Sadie Mae, who was a source of immense pride and happiness in his life.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 23, 2024, from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at the Gosselin Funeral Home, 660 New Dover Road, Edison, NJ. A Marine Corp Funeral Honors ceremony will take place during the visitation at 4:30pm, honoring his service and dedication.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in memory of Howard E. Bertsch, a testament to his proud service and patriotic spirit.
