Helen Worosila (nee Przychocki) 88 passed away at home Friday surrounded by her amazing children. Born in Bayonne, she moved to the Jordan Woods section of Colonia with her husband Walter in 1957 to raise their family.
In addition to her parents Stanley and Julia, she is predeceased by Walter, and her 4 brothers and sisters-in-law, Louis Price (Sadie), Stanley (Mary), Casimierz “Kasiu”(Pat), and Edward (Beatrice) Przychocki. She is survived by her five fantastic children, Gregory, JoAnn, Barbara Morrisey, Karen, and Donna (Todd), her adoring grandchildren Nick (Ellen), Jordan (Janelle) Morrisey her great-grandson Lincoln, as well as several nieces and nephews. An avid knitter, she was not only devoted to her family but also to her faith. As an original parishioner of St. John Vianney Church, she was instrumental in the parish fair at its inception, the Altar Rosary society and school lunches back in the day. A fan of Notre Dame football as well as the triple crown horseraces, nothing brought her more joy than the time spent around the kitchen table with her family and their friends. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, resilient spirit, friendly smile and for a life very well lived.
Visitation Monday May 24, 2021 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Gosselin Funeral Home 660 New Dover Road, Edison. Funeral Services Tuesday May 25, 2021 8:15 am at the funeral home followed by a 9:30am Mass at St John Vianney Church, Colonia. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
