Helen J Gray

Helen J Gray passed away peacefully on January 1, 2021 at Care One @ The Highlands, Edison at the age of 97. She was born in Fords and resided in Iselin before moving to Edison.

Helen worked at the Raritan Arsenal during World War 11 then after marrying her husband James she was a homemaker. She was a devout catholic when her husband became ill, she was a care giver to him. Helen enjoyed needle work, cooking for her family and was known for her homemade pies.

She was predeceased by her husband James W. Gray, her brothers Joe, John, William and Frank, her sisters Stephanie and Josephine.

Surviving are her children Elaine MacAvoy and her husband Robert, Jr. and Karen Arocho also 6 grandchildren, Bridget, Molly, Jennifer, Valerie. Joyce and Veronica. She also leaves behind her great grandchildren Joshua, Jacob, Julian, Ethan, Joel, and Daniel.

Visitation Wednesday January 6, 2021 from 9:00am to 11:00am at the Gosselin Funeral Home 660 New Dover Road, Edison. Funeral Mass Wednesday January 6, 2021 at 11:15am at St Cecelia RC Church, Iselin. Interment Rosedale Cemetery, Linden.
