Hector Luis Crespo

Hector Luis Crespo, 52, of Elizabeth, New Jersey, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2020 at Trinitas Regional Medical Center due to complications from COVID-19.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Ingrid Crespo, and their children, Kimberly, Jason, Danielle, Allison and Luis. He is also survived by his six siblings and their spouses; several nieces and nephews and their spouses; and the countless friends and coworkers who he considered family.

Hector’s greatest love and joy were his children. He was a kind and generous soul to those he considered family and friends. His close friend, Nario, described him as “a genuine man that only comes around once in a lifetime.” He greatly enjoyed the outdoors, music, dancing, boxing and wrestling programs, and riding his bikes and motorcycle. His love of machinery and mechanics were evident in his many garage projects throughout the years. Hector’s love of animals was also evident in the many pets he provided care for throughout his lifetime, including his surviving 30-year-old Amazonian parrot, Lorreto.

Hector’s kindness and generosity will be forever in the hearts of the lives he touched.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic there will be no wake or funeral at this time. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
