Gladys Schmidt

Gladys Schmidt entered into eternal rest on December 25,2023. Gladys lost her battle with cancer
passing peacefully surrounded by love and support of her friends!
Gladys was a devoted and dedicated teacher at St John Vianney School for 51 years. She touched many
students lives and brought science to life in her classroom. Gladys had a love for cats! She rescued many
and was known for her stories about her house cats and outdoors cats. Gladys was born in Newark and
was raised in Colonia.

Visitation Thursday December 28, 2023 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Gosselin Funeral Home 660 New Dover Road Edison. Day of funeral visitation Friday December 29, 2023 from 9:00am to 10:00am at the funeral home followed by a 10:00am Blessing. Interment St Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
