Gerarda Vitiello

Gerarda Vitiello, age 66 of Edison, NJ passed away on June 6, 2023. She is survived by her husband, Cesare Vitiello, brother, Michele Antonio Di Giorgio, daughter, Angela Traum, son-in-law, David Traum, and grandson, Simon Traum. Gerarda grew up in Vallata, Italy before moving to the United States with her parents, Angelo and Carmina Di Giorgio. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. Gerarda fought hard to battle cancer and faced death with no fear.  She would do anything for her friends and family and loved everyone deeply. Gerada lived a life of kindness, honor, and respect. Our family is grateful to know that Gerarda is finally at peace. Services will be held at Gosselin Funeral Home in Edison, NJ on June 12, 2023 at 8:30am.  Funeral Mass will follow at St. Helena’s Church in Edison, NJ at 10:30 am.  All are welcome.
