Georgieann K Macaluso

Georgieann K. Macaluso, 68, of Colonia, New Jersey, passed away on March 20, 2022.

Georgieann graduated from Colonia High School in 1971 and from Loretto Heights College in Denver Colorado with a bachelor`s degree in French in 1975. After earning a certification in English education from Kean University, she taught high school English in several schools in Middlesex County, New Jersey, ending her teaching career at Middlesex County Vocational and Technical High School.

Georgieann was predeceased by her parents, Carmen and Eileen (nee Waters) Macaluso. She is survived by her brother Charles Macaluso and wife Rose; her sister Kathie (nee Macaluso) Waigand and husband Bob; her niece Cara Macaluso and husband Ray Wallin; her niece Heather (nee Johnson) Malloy and husband Sean; five great-nephews and one great-niece, Joseph, Charles and Elisabeth Wallin and Philip, Hank and John Malloy; and many devoted cousins and friends.

Georgie was a friendly and generous woman. She expressed her creativity with many different crafts, including card making, painting and needlework. She enjoyed visiting with family and friends. She was an avid reader and great story teller. She used her keen sense of humor to positively connect with people around her.

Memorial Visitation to remember and honor Georgieann`s life will be Thursday April 21, 2022 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Gosselin Funeral Home 660 New Dover Road, Edison..
