George W. Stubblebine

George W. Stubblebine Chemical Engineer Retired PSE&G Plant Manager

George W. Stubblebine passed away at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital on July 10th,2025

George W. Stubblebine was born in Germantown Hospital in Philadelphia, Pa. on January 17,1934 and resided in Iselin, N.J.from 1961 to 2022.

George graduated from Lafayette College with a degree in chemical engineering. He worked for GAF corporation in the Sixties and transitioned to PSEG in 1971. George retired as Plant Manager of the Linden SNG Plant.

 He was predeceased by his wife of over 50 years, Regina, as well as a son, Gregory, and his grandson, John.  George is survived by two sons, George, and his wife, Sue Ann, and Glenn, along with his wife, Jacquee Anne.  He also leaves behind his sister, Kay Cox, of Texas, two grandsons, Samuel and David Stubblebine, and a great-grandson, Preston.

Funeral Mass will be held Monday July 14, 2025, at 10:15 am at St Cecelia’s RC Church in Iselin, followed by interment at Holmdel Cemetery, Holmdel.
