George Boyd Gossett

George Boyd Gossett 81, of Hallandale Beach Florida, passed away on September 15, 2025, peacefully in his sleep. Born on March 28th 1944 in Newark, New Jersey, George Gossett was the Director of the American Rescue Workers in Newark, NJ, a faith-based charitable organization dedicated to serving the community through social services and thrift operations. George will be lovingly remembered for his passion for gospel music, his fondness for John Wayne westerns, Larry Bird, playing Gin Rummy and the joy he found driving with the top down and music up. George is survived by his children, Bill, Jeff, Joe, Jaycee and Geroge Gossett and five grandchildren.
