George J Fink, Jr.

George J. Fink, Jr passed away Monday, February 22, 2021, at RWJ Barnabas Hospital in Rahway. He was born in Rahway and resided in Avenel before moving to Iselin, August of 2020.

George, also known as Butch, Butchie or Finky, was a truck driver since the age of 17 working for various companies. He loved fishing, camping, racing and enjoyed going to car shows. Over the years he would spend his Saturdays hanging with friends at the shop talking about cars, or recently after moving back to Iselin, he would enjoy breakfast at Murphy’s Deli. George would do anything for anyone and loved spending time with his family. 

George is predeceased by his parents George, Sr and Winifred Fink, and his in-laws Anna and Walter Bucher Sr.

Surviving are George's wife of 20 years, Diane Fink, his daughter Kimberly Mihalics and her husband Richard, his grandchildren Ryleigh and Logan. He is also survived by his sister Linda Zisko, his niece Rebecca Zisko, his nephew Jonathan Zisko and his wife Natalie, and their two children, Ethan & Zoe. As well as his in-laws; Lisa & Tom O’Malley; Walter C Bucher Jr, and Brian & Renee Bucher as well as his nieces and nephews; Shana & Rob Hennessy, Brittany Bucher (George), Tommy O’ Malley (Kelsey),  Brian Bucher, Ian O’Malley, Kyle Bucher, and Connor O’Malley and great-nephew; Jace Hennessy.

Visitation Sunday, February 28, 2021, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Gosselin Funeral Home, 660 New Dover Road, Edison. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations in his loving memory to: American Diabetes Association https://www.diabetes.org/donate.
