Gavin M McCarthy

Gavin M. McCarthy passed away on Thursday August 17, 2023 at Hackensack University Medical Center. He was born in Perth Amboy and was a lifelong resident of Edison. Gavin Worked as Property Development & Special Projects Field Supervisor for 30 years.

Gavin was predeceased by his loving wife of 39 years and high school sweetheart Gail McCarthy (2017); his mother Elizabeth McCarthy; and his brother Daniel McCarthy. Surviving are his children Brian McCarthy and his wife Megan, Corey McCarthy, Patricia Klingert and her husband Theodore, Travis McCarthy and his wife Marie, and Quentin McCarthy and his wife Alessia; he was known as Pop to his favorite people, his 5 grandchildren Mason, Connor, Sean, Gabriella and Cameron.

Visitation will be Monday August 21, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM & 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Gosselin Funeral Home 660 New Dover Road Edison, NJ. Cremation will be Private.
