Frank Ruggiero passed away Sunday December 27, 2020 at JFK Medical Center, Edison. He was born in Brooklyn, NY and resided in Long Beach, NY and Fanwood before moving to Edison in 1993.
He proudly served our country in the United States Army during the Korean War. Frank was a self-employed carpenter for 40 years retiring many years ago.
He was predeceased by his wife Carolina Ruggiero, his parents John and Concetta Ruggiero, his brother Bartolomeo (Barney) Ruggiero. Surviving are his children, Connie Cannon and her husband Wayne, Linda Ruggiero and Robert Ruggiero also 5 grandchildren LynnAnn (Marc), Danielle (Carl), Maggie, Brian, and Robbie (Michelle), 5 great grandchildren Hailey Dawn, Rylan, Makenzie, Vincenzo and Brooklyn. Frank is also survived by his brother John (Annette), his sisters Margie Bassolino and Fran (Jessie) Fink and his sister-in-law Josie Ruggiero also many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday December 29,2020 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the Gosselin Funeral Home 660 New Dover Road, Edison. Funeral Services Wednesday December 30,2020 at 9:00 am at the funeral home followed by a 10:00am Mass at St Helena Church, Edison. Interment Fairview Cemetery, Westfield.
Family will be having a celebration of his life once COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.
