Elsie A. Donnelly

Elsie Alice Donnelly, 82, died Saturday, July 6, 2019, at Saint Peter’s University Hospital, in New Brunswick.

Born in New York City, Elsie was the daughter of Theodore and Julia Blanch.  She was a graduate of Central Commercial High School in NYC, class of 1954.  In 1974, she moved to Edison, with her husband, Frank, to raise their three children.  Elsie worked as an administrative assistant at several corporations, including Metropolitan Life, Engelhard and ISS.  Elsie retired from ISS.  She was a loving mother and grandmother and spending time with her family was her greatest joy.  She was a devoted parishioner of St Helena’s Catholic Church for over forty years.

Elsie was predeceased by her brother in law Max Zaytzeff and her nephew Mark Zaytzeff.   She was also predeceased by her beloved husband, Francis, in 2009.  They were married for 49 years.  She is survived by her three daughters, Cindy Donnelly of Edison; Christine Caunt and her husband Stephen Caunt of Millstone; and Patricia Donnelly and her husband James Corcoran of Edison; her grandchildren Emily, Julianne, and Nicholas Caunt; her sister Ann Zaytzeff of Cuyahoga Falls Ohio; her nephew Gregory Zaytzeff of Akron Ohio; her niece Lori (Zaytzeff) Shirley and her husband Marc of Middletown Maryland; and her great nieces Melissa and Jessica Shirley.

Visitation Thursday July 11, 2019 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the Gosselin Funeral Home 660 New Dover Road, Edison. Funeral Services Friday July 12, 2019, 9:00AM at the funeral home followed by a 10:00am Mass at St Helena RC Church, Edison. Interment St Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia
