In Loving Memory of
Elizabeth De Berry left her body and returned to the source of all love on June 10, 2020. She was 74 years old. She possessed an innate talent in fashion, art, and décor, and occasionally displayed a keen sense of humor. Her journey included a number of struggles.
Liz was born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, where she was raised by her mother along with her aunts and uncles. She became especially close to her cousins in her childhood and developed close friendships with her classmates. She was accepted into the U.S.-Honduras student exchange program, attended high school in the United States and became bilingual. After returning to Honduras, she married a gentleman, who was working in the U.S. embassy in Honduras. From that marriage, an incredible daughter, Karen, was born. Liz subsequently married David De Berry. From that marriage, an amazing son, Daniel, was born.
Liz was employed at Prudential and at Hoffman-Koos and enjoyed a number of friendships established with her co-workers. Liz attended a number of churches throughout her life, including the Colonia Chapel and Faith Fellowship. She enjoyed the benefits of having friendships established with other worshippers.
Surviving her are Liz’s children, Karen and Daniel, her grandchildren, Luke and Noah, an uncle, an aunt, her cousins, her husband, Dave, and her dear friends.
