Dorothy B. Horn, of North Edison, passed away peacefully at Rahway Hospital in Rahway, NJ on May 10th, 2021. She was 93.
Dorothy was born in Jersey City, NJ before moving to North Edison where she resided for the last 62 years. She retired from Citadel Corporation in 1996, where she worked as an accounting assistant. Throughout her lifetime, she enjoyed traveling and possessed an adventurous spirit. Dorothy was definitively the life of the party everywhere she went. Above all, she had immense love for her big family, being the cornerstone for her family to revolve around. Her family was her greatest accomplishment, and she took great pride in all of them. Although physically she is no longer with us, she lives on in the hearts, memories and spirits of not only her family, but all the lives she's touched along the way.
Dorothy was predeceased by her husband John Raymond Horn in 1992 and is survived by her 5 children, Deborah Weber of Monroe, Raymond C. Horn of Edison, Denise Souza of Holmdel, Kevin J. Horn and his wife Laurie of Monroe, and Darlene Bush and her husband Mark of North Syracuse, NY. She also has 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will take place on Monday May 17, 2021 at the Gosselin Funeral Home from 4-8PM.
Funeral services will take place on Tuesday at 9am at the Gosselin Funeral Home, 660 New Dover Road in Edison
A mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10AM at St. Helena's Church in Edison, interment to follow at St. Gertrude’s Cemetery in Colonia.
