Donald Trainor

Donald Trainor peacefully passed on September 24, 2025; he was 58 years of age. Born in Reading Pennsylvania, Donald relocated to New Jersey at an early age, and he has always considered New Jersey his home state. Donald was predeceased by his parents.  

Through the years, Donald has participated in the activities of the New Jersey Institute of Disabilities (NJID) where he found a circle of support and caring, which helped him achieve his personal best. 

Donald was known for his great energy and zest for life. He enjoyed listening to all types of music and spending time with his many friends. Donald found joy in simple things and his goal of every day was to spread that happiness to others. He is fondly remembered by his friends and NJID employees who became his family. 

A memorial service is scheduled on October 14th at 10AM at Gosselin Funeral Home located at 660 New Dover Road, Edison NJ 08820.
