David de Pinho passed away Thursday September 3, 2020 at Raritan Bay Medical Center Old Bridge Division. He was born in Ovar, Portugal and resided Elizabeth then Colonia for 50 years before he moved to Old Bridge 4 years ago. He proudly served our country during the Korean War in the United State Army. David was a supervisor for Singer Co in Elizabeth for 45 years then Silverline in Union County for 4 years. After retirement he was a crossing guard for Woodbridge Township retiring in 2016.
David was a NY Yankee fan and enjoyed watching soccer. He was always rooting for the United States in the finals.
He was predeceased by his wife Agnes, his parents Antonio and Rosa de Pinho, his sisters Laura DeLamar and Olinda Cruz. Surviving are his children David De Pinho and his wife Debra, James De Pinho and his wife Lauren and Susan Dziombak and her husband Dan and Mark De Pinho also his 8 grandchildren Susan, Megan, Daniel, Nicole, James, Anthony, Adam, Michael,2 step granddaughters Amanda and Valerie and 2 great grandchildren Caroline and Dean and 2 step great grandchildren Kevin and Vincent. David is also survived by his 3 nephews Danny, Joseph and Anthony and his cousin Marie Laranjeira. He was also survived by 10 nieces and nephews from his wife’s side.
Visitation Tuesday September 8, 2020 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the Gosselin Funeral Home 660 New Dover Road, Edison. Funeral Services 9:30am Wednesday September 9, 2020 at the funeral home followed by a 10:45am funeral Mass at St John Vianney RC Church, Colonia. Interment St Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
