Chrisanthi Fragulis, 87, of Edison, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2026.
Born in Piraeus, Greece, she immigrated to the United States in the 1960s and made Edison her home for more than 50 years. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Christos Fragulis; her children, Ted, Dino and his wife Laura, and Aliki (Alice) and her husband Leonardo LaForgia; and her beloved grandchildren, Christos, Alexa, Adrianna, Madison, and Andrew, who were the light of her life. She cherished every moment with them—laughing, cooking, and passing down the rich Greek traditions she held dear.
Chrisanthi loved gardening, filling her home with beautiful greenery and blooms, along with an endless supply of summer vegetables from her backyard garden. She was also a talented knitter and crocheter, creating thoughtful gifts for her loved ones. Known for her kind and compassionate nature, she touched the lives of all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held at a later date.
