On Saturday, July 29 th , Charles E. Ford Jr., passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at JFK University Medical Center. Charles was born and raised in the Philippines. He came to the United States in the late 1970’s. He lived in Wyoming for a few years before settling down in New Jersey where Charles became a long-time resident of Woodbridge Township.
Charles spent most of his professional career in the telecommunications industry. He enjoyed working with his hands; he was always tinkering with a car, finishing up a home project, or doing work in the backyard. Charles was a quiet and kind man whose greatest passion was his family. He happily doted on his wife, daughters, and granddaughters. When it came to leisurely activities, Charles liked watching movies, catching a football game on TV (he was partial to the Green Bay Packers), or simply relaxing to music with a cold beer in hand.
Charles is predeceased by his father, Charles E. Ford Sr. and by his brothers, Glen Ford and Guy Ford. Charles is survived by his wife, Luzi Ford; his daughters, Erin Auteri and her husband, Rick and Jacqueline Gill and her husband, Steve; his granddaughters, Emerie Gill, Chloe Gill and Ava Auteri. He is also survived by his mother, Rosario Ford; his sisters, Gene Avancena and KC Rosello; his brothers Randy Ford, Henry Ford, and John Ford, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
