Catherine Dworak

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Catherine Louise Dworak of Somerville, NJ, whopassed away on January 4, 2024 at the age of 54 at her home. 

Catherine was born in Patterson, NJ on April 24, 1969 and is the daughter of the late John Joseph and Carolyn Santa Maria (Boccafogli) Dworak. Catherine was the loving mother of her son Brandon Abplanalp of  Bloomfield, NJ.

Catherine worked as a nurse's aide in a doctor's office and truly enjoyed her work and helping people get well. In her spare time Catherine enjoyed cooking andwas also artistic, expressing herself both through visual art such as colored pencils, and aesthetics such as fashion. She loved spending time with her family and friends and was always cheerful and delightful to be with. Catherine had a tremendous heart and a smile that lit up the room. She always went out of her way to help those who she cared about.

Catherine will be deeply missed by her son Brandon Abplenalp, her brother Kevin Dworak, his daughters Cecelia and Andrea, and their mother Mary Ann Dworak, along with her step mother Elizabeth (Roche) Dworak, her step sisters Alexa Margaret Romeo and family, Melissa Anne Rowen and her husband Danieland family, Marie Cooke New and her husband Bradand family, her Aunt Brenda and Uncle Bob Dworak, her Aunt Ethel and Uncle Garry Boccafogli and family, her Aunt Susan Findley and family, her Uncle EdwardBoccafogli, her Aunt Maureen and Uncle Bill Boar and family, her Aunt Tina and Uncle Michael Boccafogli and family, the Dembek family, her friend Karen Rogers Albers, and countless other family members and friend
