Carolyn A (Wood) Poirier

Carolyn A Poirier passed away Monday August 10, 2020 at home in her husband’s arms. She was born in Elizabeth resided in Clark and Hunterdon County moving to Cranford 2 years ago. She was a 1978 graduate of Arthur L Johnson Reginal High School in Clark.
Carolyn was a baggage claim agent for Delta Airlines in Newark for 23 years retiring in 2005.  She volunteers at the Milford Animal Shelter for 10 years.

She was predeceased by her parents Walter and Dorothy Wood and her sister Daria Wood. Surviving are her husband of 31 years Marc Poirier, her brother Gary Wood and his wife Katherine, her nephews Joseph, Matthew and Alex and her niece Claudia. She is also survived by her mother-in-law Dr. Judith M Kelly, her father-in-law Dr. Roger A Poirier, her brother-in-law Christopher Poirier and her sister-in-law Julie Tajima.

Visitation Saturday August 15, 2020 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Gosselin Funeral Home 660 New Dover Road Edison, NJ 08820. Cremation will be private. Interment will be at a later date at Hazelwood Cemetery, Clark.
