Carolyn S Cecere

Carolyn S. Cecere, 77, passed away on August 22, 2021. Carolyn was born in Newark, New Jersey in 1944 and moved to Iselin, New Jersey where she lived for thirty years prior to retiring in Toms River, New Jersey for the last twenty years. 

She was married to her husband, Daniel Cecere for 57 years. Carolyn loved the beach and the Jersey Shore, she spent many summers vacationing in Lavallette. 

She was always exploring new business ventures, from making t-shirts and sweaters then selling them at the Englishtown flea market. She became a manicurist, a licensed realtor, and she even made her own jewelry. 

She lived for her family, her enjoyment and happiness came with family vacations, spending weekends together on the jersey shore, family bowling leagues,  She was especially proud of all her grandchildren, she loved going to all of their events and being a part of their special moments. 

Carolyn was a loving wife, mother and devoted grandmother. 

She was predeceased by her son, Daniel Cecere Jr. 

She is survived by her loving husband, Daniel, her two daughters Donna Falcone (John) and Debbie Castellucci (Domenick) and son in law, Christopher (Butch) Crispino. Carolyn is also survived by her four grandchildren, Anthony and Chris Falcone and Gabriella and Daniel Castellucci. 

Visitation will take place from 4-8PM on Thursday August 26th at the Gosselin Funeral Home at 660 New Dover Road in Edison. 

Funeral services will begin at 10AM on Friday August 27th at the Gosselin Funeral Home. A blessing will take place at 11AM on Friday August 27th at the funeral home. Following the blessing, entombment will take place at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia at 53 Inman Avenue.
