Carole Ann Favilla, 84, of the Colonia section of Woodbridge Township, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2025, at Inglemoor Rehabilitation and Hospice.
Born in the Bronx, Carole later moved to Newark NJ before settling in Colonia, where she built a life filled with love, friendship, and service to her community. She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph Favilla, a proud Navy veteran who served in World War II.
Carole was the daughter of the late William George Storms and Mary Storms and the cherished sister of William G. Storms and Robert H. Storms. She was a devoted mother to her late son, Wayne M. Favilla, and is survived by her sons Ralph M. Favilla and his wife, Marta, and James L. Favilla and his wife, Katherine. She was also a loving grandmother to six beautiful grandchildren who brought her immense joy.
A retired insurance professional, Carole worked at John Hancock before retiring 56 years ago. She remained active and engaged in her community as a dedicated volunteer and member of the Woodbridge Garden Club, the Historical Association of Woodbridge Township, the Five Branches Senior Center, and the Colonia Club.
Carole found happiness in the simple joys of life playing Mahjong weekly with her friends, taking bus trips to shows, gardening, hosting gatherings, and sharing meals with loved ones. Her immense sparkle, warmth, generosity, and kindness touched the lives of so many, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her
