Carmen L. D’Alessandro, (84) of Fords, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2025 surrounded by his family.
Carmen was an antique car enthusiast, and would often be seen at the local car shows in any one of his classic 1930’s Ford Roadsters or Coupes. While he certainly had a love for cars, hitting the shores of Cape May and navigating his boat, it was his granddaughter Sophia, that brought him the most love, joy and happiness that one man could ever hope for.
He is survived by his daughter, Carmen Ann D’Alessandro & her wife, Barbara A. Millspaugh, his daughter and son-in-law, Joan Marie & Phillip Lottmann, and his beautiful granddaughter, Sophia Lottmann. He is also survived by 2 stepchildren & a step grand-daughter. He is predeceased in death by his parents, Joseph & Angelina D’Alessandro and his brother Anthony D’Alessandro. He is also predeceased by his first wife Joan (Sidoti) D’Alessandro & his second wife, Susan (Turon) D’Alessandro.
Visitation will be held at Gosselin Funeral Home located at 660 New Dover Rd., Edison, NJ, 08820 on Monday, December 1, 2025 between 4:00pm and 8:00pm. Day of Funeral Visitation, Tuesday, December 2, 2025 from 9:30am to 10:30pm followed by the Blessing. The Entombment will take place at 11:30 am at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens located on Route 1 North, Woodbridge, NJ
