Bertha Ricardo

Bertha Ricardo, daughter of Maximo and Rosario Faura, beloved, wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, & great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on June 20th. She was 87 years old. Bertha was a very caring person who loved her family immensely. She filled her home with warmth and kindness always offering everyone who visited food and drinks. She loved the outdoors, planting beautiful flowers in her garden. She will be remembered for her unwavering devotion to her loved ones & we will miss her dearly.

She is survived by her husband Lester of 67 years, sister Neyda Martinez, her nephew Jose Luis Martinez, and her two children Lester (wife Eileen) and Ivette. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Christopher Ricardo, Melissa McGrath, Jennifer Van Laar, Christian Zapf, Taralyn Zapf and great-grandchildren Evan, Avery, Sadie and Alexander.

A memorial service will be held on June 25th at Gosselin Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
