Bernard Klinck passed away Sunday February 16, 2020 at CareOne at the Highlands. He was 84 years old. Bernard was born in Jersey City moving to Iselin in 1966. He loved the Jersey Shore especially staying at his summer home on Long Beach Island. Bernard graduated from Seaton Hall University with a degree in Business. He worked for Merrill Lynch for over 30 years retiring in 1998. Baseball was his passion, playing for the Detroit Tigers minor league. He was an avid sports fan rooting for his Jets, Mets, Devils and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. He also enjoyed singing along to music. Bernard was a Eucharistic Minister for his parish, St Cecelia’s.
Predeceased by his brothers and sisters Robert Klinck, Catherine Hakes and Bernice Bertsch. Surviving are his loving wife of 56 years, Frances Klinck; his 3 children Karen Klinck, Laura Verile and husband Tom, and Christopher Klinck and wife Sandra; 7 grandchildren Thomas, Amanda, Andrew, Brielle, Ava, Cruze and Dylan.
Visitations will be held on Thursday February 20, 2020 from 4:00PM-8:00PM at the Gosselin Funeral Home, 660 New Dover Road, Edison, NJ 08820. Funeral Services will be held on Friday February 21, 2020 at 9:00Am at the funeral home. Followed by a 10:00AM mass at St. Cecelia Church, Iselin. Burial to follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
