Barbara Wiemer

Barbara was born to William and Stella Szachewicz in 1933.  William did not survive WW2.  After the war, Stella was wed to Thomas McGovern.  Together Tom and Stella raised Barbara in Jersey City, NJ.  After graduating Ferris High School, Barbara worked at Carolina Freight Carriers, where she met her first husband, Rudolph Wiemer.  They moved to Colonia, NJ where they raised their three children - Eric, Valerie and David.  Barbara loved indoor plants, gardening and loved to decorate the house for any holiday or family event.  She learned to craft stained glass. Barbara worked for Revlon in Edison N.J. and attended Rutgers University at night in Newark, N.J.

After Rudolph's passing, Barbara married Richard Pezzano and moved to Bayville N.J.  Following Richards passing Barbara lived in Plainsboro and West Windsor, N.J.

Barbara is survived by her three children Valerie Musculino, Eric Wiemer and David Wiemer and their families. 

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 between the hours of 2:00PM and 5:00PM at the Gosselin Funeral Home 660 New Dover RoadEdison, NJ 08820

The funeral will be on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at 11:00AM: Hazel Wood Cemetery Chapel 64 Lake Avenue Colonia, NJ 07067
