Barbara McGuinness Obituary

Barbara A McGuinness passed away Saturday June 8, 2019 surrounded by her loving family at JFK Medical Center, Edison. She was born in Newark and resided in Iselin and Edison before moving to South Plainfield in 2014. Barbara was in customer service for Saker Shop Rite in different locations retiring in the year 2000.

Barbara was predeceased by her parents Theodore Clark and Anna Murray and her step father Joseph Murray, her life partner Francis Exkorn. Surviving are her son Thomas McGuinness Jr. and his wife Amy, and her daughter Leslie Goncalves, her step daughter Kathryn Tharp and her husband Jim, step son Franklin Exkorn and his wife Karen her grandchildren Meghan, Bridget and Erin McGuinness, Isabelle Goncalves, Gabrielle and Liam Tharp and Jake Exkorn. She is also survived by her brother James Clark and his wife Carol, ex-husband Thomas McGuinness Sr. and by her 3 nieces.

Cremation will be private.
