Azucena H Razon

Azucena (Hernandez) Razon, 88, of Rahway, NJ, formerly of Jersey City, NJ, died peacefully at home on March 15, 2023.
Azucena was born on August 29, 1934 in Manila, Philippines. She came to the US in 1958 with a Bachelors Degree from Santa Thomas in nursing. A wonderful nurse, she first worked at Margaret Hague Maternity Hospital in Jersey City before joining Jersey City Medical Center in their operating room.  She later obtained her Master's Degree in Hospital Administration from Jersey City State College.
Devoted wife to Marcelino. A loving and very hard working mother, an adoring grandmother & great-grandmother.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, parties & dancing.  She loved to travel the world.  She especially loved seeing her grandchildren participate in their sporting events, especially swimming & even went to Switzerland to see them. 
Zeny is survived by her sisters Saling Dela Fuente, Betty Resurreccion & Thelma Garcia, daughters Cynthia Razon Monti Cavalli & Evelyn Mahoney, grandchildren Christopher Mahoney, Brian Mahoney, Evan Mahoney, Jonathan Monti Cavalli, Kayla Monti Cavalli, Corinne Mahoney & Shania Monti Cavalli, great-grandchildren Layla Krohn & Callie Jo Mahoney & many loving nieces and nephews, great nieces & great nephews too many who will miss her dearly.

Visitation Friday March 17, 2023 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at the Gosselin Funeral Home 660 New Dover Road Edison, NJ. Day of funeral visitation from 8:00am to 9:00am at the funeral home followed by a 9:30am mass at St Andrews Church, Avenel. Interment St Gertrude Cemetery.
