Obituary


Audrey B. Guensch, 89, passed away peacefully on May 4th 2022 at home in Edison NJ. She was born on May 25th 1932 in Newark NJ. She resided in NJ most of her life and also had a residence in Port St Lucie FLA.

After graduating high school in 1948 she worked as a secretary for the Real Estate Board of Newark and then Haynes Department Store until 1989. From 1989 until she retired in 1994 she worked as a Home Health Care Aid.  Audrey was a very kind and generous woman who was always there for her family and friends. A great cook who`s dishes delighted everyone at her family gatherings. An avid reader who always had a book within arms reach. She was a favorite Aunt to many of her nieces and nephews. Audrey was predeceased by her husband Fred, daughter Lisa and sisters Barbara, Phyllis and Marilyn.

She is survived by her son Frederick Guensch and her brother William Bauer. 

Memorial service will take place on September 30th from 3-7PM. Pastor Chuck Coblentz from the New Dover United Methodist Church will be saying a eulogy at 4PM.
