Antoinette P Teffenhart

On January 6, 2021, Antoinette P. Teffenhart, 90, passed away peacefully at her home in Iselin, New Jersey. Antoinette was born on January 12, 1930 in Jersey City, New Jersey. She resided in Colonia, New Jersey majority of her life before moving to Iselin, New Jersey, five years ago. Antoinette was a parishioner of St. John Vianney Church in Colonia, New Jersey.

Antoinette was a loving wife, mother, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother. She was known as an adoring Nana to her seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Antoinette was predeceased by her parents, Clarence and Rose Bowen; her husband, Andrew John Teffenhart; her brother, William Bowen and her sisters, Ida Statile and Eleanor Yackulich. She is survived by her two sisters, Theresa Hill and Geraldine McPhee, her brother, Clarence Bowen, her son, Andrew John Teffenhart Jr., and his wife Eileen; daughter, Jean Brazis and her husband Alan, daughter, Lynn Fleming; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Blevins and her husband Thomas, Katherine Lowich and her husband Jeffrey, Druann Bobal and her husband Charles, Christopher Brazis and his wife Laura, Jessica Wright and her husband Lawrence, Michael Fleming and his fiance Fran and Melissa Fleming and ten great grandchildren, Karaleen, Karen, Charlotte, Andrew, Kylee, Madelyn, Danica, Cassidy, Aidan and Logan.

Antoinette worked as a hairdresser most of her life. She volunteered alot of her time to Deborah Heart and Lung Center. She organized the Golden Girls Luncheon Club for many years and always enjoyed spending time with all of the members. She had a passion for baking and was always known for her holiday cookies that everyone loved.

Funeral Mass Saturday January 9, 2021 10:00am at St Helena RC Church Grove Avenue Edison. All to meet at Church. Entombment will be private at St Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
