Anthony “Tony" Rossetti, 91, of Colonia, NJ, passed away on November 24, 2019. His final days were spent surrounded by his loved ones.
Tony was born in Brooklyn, NY on April 18, 1928 to Raphael and Ida Rossetti. A dedicated employee and a hard worker all his life, Tony was a tool and die maker for Crown, Cork, and Seal where he was employed for over 40 years. It was there where he also met the love of his life and future wife, Anna Marie Rossetti (Palmieri).
He was an avid Yankees fan, although he constantly called them bums, and was rarely ever seen without reading material in hand. He loved to travel and had a passion for history and automotive vehicles; his zeal for these subjects inspired the careers of not only his children, but his grandchildren as well.
Tony will be remembered for his warm and caring heart and his infectious sense of humor, which he maintained even in his final days. He is survived by his loving wife of sixty-nine years, Anna, his children and their spouses, Edith and James Rieder and Ralph and Deborah Rossetti, his sister, Lucy DeGroso, and his grandchildren James and Anthony Rieder and Catherine Rossetti. He was preceded by his parents, Raphael and Ida, and his sisters, Julie Catalano, Jean Avenire, and brother, Anthony.
