Beloved Wife & Mother. Iselin, 81

Anne gently entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Newark, NJ on October 24, 1939, daughter to George and Antoinette Cecere. She later moved with her late husband Aniello “Harry” to Iselin where she resided for the last 50 years.

Anne had irresistible charisma, meeting and making new friends came naturally wherever she went…and went she did. Those who met her over the years likely met her along her way, as Anne got around for decades mostly on foot. Her uncanny ability to make people laugh and smile was unforgettable, furthered by her loving personality which was evident to all.

Not only was she a caregiver at home, but Anne’s lifelong career often involved caregiving for many others’ small children. Her final place of occupation was George Dapper Bus Co. where she was an aide until she retired. Anne’s passion for life also extended beyond caregiving, as she often spent many hours gardening at home and had an unwavering devotion for the Roman Catholic Church.

Those closest to Anne are the ones most certain to miss her, her family. Anne loved them wholeheartedly. She especially enjoyed the many holiday gatherings they spent together. She often looked forward, as well, to quality time spent at home with her 3 boys & grandchild Dominick. They were her greatest joy and blessing.

Anne is survived by her 2 cherished sons, Bob Anione, Don Anione (Donna) and their son Dominick, whom was her heart. She also is survived by her loving siblings, sister Marie Grove, brother Daniel Cecere (Carolyn). She also had several nieces, nephews & cousins which she loved dearly. She is predeceased by her treasured best friend, husband of 58 years Aniello and beloved son Pat.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 3rd from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at the Gosselin Funeral Home in Edison, NJ. Mass will follow at 11:15 am at St. Cecelia church in Iselin.
